This product is a safety device for the railroad industry and it was the brainchild of a train engineer with BNSF. Knowing that derailments, with their cost of life, money and safety issues, were a problem that needed to be addressed. Using PVC pipe and various off the shelf items he created his first working prototype. After testing it he knew that it was a product.

Next he went to our injection molding house looking to mold it in plastic. They referred him to I.T.I. Inc. for design concepts. Keeping the basic workings of the device our engineer did concept drawings, sourced materials that could handle the harsh requirements, and had prototypes made. Several evolutions later the molds were built and 1st article pieces were constructed. It has been tested in Pueblo, CO at the train testing facility and surpassed all expectations, including that of the testing crew.
